Congratulations to Emma L. this afternoon she competed at the 6A West Conference Dive Meet and finished 6th! She earned a spot on the podium with a medal. The 11 dives that she completed earned her a spot at the State Meet in two weeks. The swimming portion of the Conference Meet will take place this Fri. Thank you to all the parents and volunteers who made Senior Night possible for the Class of 2024. The students really showed up by beating the other 5 schools that attended. Senior Emily S. finished 2nd in the 200 free. Senior Jack Y. won the 100 back. Senior Ty S. finished 2nd in the 50 free & 100 breast. Senior Noah S. finished 2nd in his two events as well. Senior Claire K. 6th in the 200 free & 100 back. The team will continue to prepare for the Conference Meet, Dive taking place on February 6th and swim will be on February 9th.

Advanced Plant Science students toured WT Equipment in Springdale. They learned about career and internship opportunities with this company as well as how this business provides equipment and services to help many small businesses in NWA. Har-Ber Debate students spoke at the Springdale Rotary Club 4-Way Test speech contest and applied the 4-way test to real world topics of their choice. Nora Shitandi spoke about performative activism earning 1st place and $500. Zulqar Nain spoke about the death penalty earning 2nd place and $300.
