Our amazing teachers are focusing on The New Art and Science of Teaching and the work of Dr. Robert Marzano by observing their peers who are using Marzano's instructional strategies throughout the month of April. Teachers who participated in classroom observations this week were entered into a drawing for gift cards donated by local businesses. Our week one winners were Ms. Stroinski and Ms. Ellis! Thank you to JJ's Grill Springdale and United Federal Credit Unior Har-Ber Meadows for supporting teachers who are committed to learning and growing in their profession!
Har-Ber High School is blessed with two outstanding Library-Media Specialists. Ginny Poepsel and Amanda Teff make a positive impact on our school culture. They are servant leaders that go above and beyond to serve our students and our staff. We give them a special shout out as we celebrate National School Librarian Day!
Mr. Bacon and this AP Spanish Literature and Culture recently took a field trip to Crystal Bridges. It was an excellent learning experience. Students were able to connect their learning with art exhibits.
Due to the possibility of severe weather, all after school events scheduled for tonight will be rescheduled. These include all HBHS athletic events, the NHS Induction, and the Concert Performance Assessment at DTSOI. Details about makeup times/dates will be announced soon.
Congratulations to the Har-Ber High School EAST Team for receiving the Pitch Perfect Award at the EAST National Conference in Hot Springs this week! We are proud of you for making a difference in our school and our community!
Congratulations to Kyler Ramirez, a member of the Har-Ber High School FFA. Kyler was named the High Individual winner at the Northwest District poultry contest. Kyler also won a $3,000 scholarship to Arkansas Tech University!
Nathan Whitten, Har-Ber High School swim coach, shared news about Har-Ber and Springdale high schools' swim and dive accomplishments for the season at the March 14 School Board meeting. The teams are comprised of students from Har-Ber, Springdale High and DTSOI. #SpringdaleFamily
The School Board recognized the district's band and choral programs for their amazing achievements this school year on March 14 at its monthly meeting. Participating students represented Har-Ber and Springdale high schools and Don Tyson School of Innovation. #SpringdaleFamily

This weekend the HBHS Debate for Forensics team competed at Fayetteville in the last team tournament of the year. The team received a 2nd Place overall sweepstakes and 2nd Place team efficiency sweepstakes. In addition to the team success the following students won individual accolades. We are proud of them!
