The Wildcats took to the pool this past Monday after training hard during the winter break. This was a great opportunity for the kids to see their hard work pay off. Anna Claire went nearly 4 seconds faster in her 200 free while also going 2 seconds faster in the 100 back. David Wallace won both of his events and qualified for state as well, dropping a total of 6 seconds in those events. Lucas S. dropped 11 seconds in the 200 Individual Medley finishing 3rd. Saylor Wilson finished 1st in the 200 free. Sarah Pope had two top 2 finishes in her events inching closer and closer to state qualifying times in the 100 free and 50 free. Abigail Livingston won the 100 back! Emily Reaves was only a second away from qualifying in state for the 100 fly that effort earned her a 1st place finish. Max Simmons had the biggest time drop of the night going 10 seconds faster than his best time in the 100 free. The student athletes continue to work hard as they prepare for the championship part of their season.
