ACDC Teacher of the Month- Melisa Jennings
Congratulations to Carter and Hayden Swope for winning the Overall Boy’s Doubles State Championship! We are proud of you. Go Har-Ber!
Alexis Phipps is an 8th grader at Central Junior High School. This is her first year showing animals but with her hard work and determination she has come out of the gates and is hitting the showering with success. At AYE she was 3rd in class, and did a very good job with her hog in showmanship. At the Washington County Fair she won her class and made the sale her first year showing. Her drive to get better along with her always having a good time makes Alexis a fun asset to the Har-Ber show team.
Mayli Brooks is a 4th grader at Shaw Elementary. Mayli is a member of the Goin Showin 4H group, but she is also a part of Har-Bers future FFA. Mayli is following in her sisters footsteps by showing hogs and I couldn’t be more proud of her. This year she has gotten so much better at feeding, walking and showing her pig. Mayli was at the top in her age group in showmanship at AYE. At the Washington County fair she also was one of the tops in her age group. Mayli gets better every week through her hard work.
Wildcat Families,

Progress Reports and a new Learning Model Survey was sent home through Advisory the week of Oct. 5. Please make sure that your student has returned the form to his/her Advisor.
If the survey is not returned, then it is assumed that your student will physically attend school Monday-Friday (until it is returned). Please review your student's progress report and carefully select the best option for your student.
Rosie Pianalto is an 8th grader at Central Junior High. This is her first year showing any animal. Rosie did a great job all year taking care of her pigs and getting them ready for the shows. Rosie has grown so much as a stockwoman, and I am so proud of the work she and her family did this year. Rosie is already making plans to buy more pigs next year.
