Visiting College Campuses

Each Junior/Senior is allowed 2 college campus visits during the school year.

Provide official documents from the school you visit (ex. letter from staff, document showing your scheduled visit, etc). Scan and email your documents to sdalton@sdale.org

Failure to provide proper documentation may result in an unexcused absence.

UA Ft Smith- BIG Scholarship!! If you have applied or would like to apply to UAFS, please see your counselor asap! Up to five HBHS seniors have the chance of a lifetime: A tuition-paid scholarship at UAFS for four years! Yes, we mean it! We are offering full tuition for four years ($21,000 total) for selected students.

The UAFS community will offer Counselor Opportunity Scholarships. Review of nominations will begin as soon as they are submitted, and awards will be offered to selected students once they have submitted the FAFSA and been admitted to the university.

Students will receive $5,250 per year for four years if they:

  • Remain enrolled as full-time students at UAFS and maintain a 2.5 GPA

  • Live on campus (All federal and state grant money will be added on top of the scholarship to help the student cover other expenses)

Prospective students can email Shay Lastra (slastra@nwti.edu) or text 479-466-5000 to arrange for a time to talk. She can help them apply for NWTI diploma or certification programs and remotely assist them to complete the FAFSA or NWTI scholarship application.

NWACC offers Concurrent Classes!

If you are interested in taking NWACC concurrent courses next school year, you must follow the instructions of the flyer below. Also, students must fill out the Course Registration Form (you will need to download the form in order to type your information) Once completed, email to your counselor.

Deadline for online classes is July 1, deadline for Har-Ber school based classes is Aug. 1.

Please keep in mind that counselors ARE NOT at the school during the summer months. Please plan accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Tuition is due the first 2 weeks of school in the Fall and Spring semesters

  • Cost of tuition is $162 per class.

  • Tuition waivers may be granted, if you are free/reduced lunch, up to 6 hours of college credit (2 courses).
