Students in Mr. Roberts' greenhouse class are transplanting pansies to grow. These plants will be used to decorate the landscape beds around school. Extras will be available for sale at a later date!
Students in Biology conducted an investigation into the mass of cream filling in Double Stuffed Oreos. They examined the variables, formed a hypothesis, then examined the data to determine if their hypothesis was proven to be true or false.

Test scores in math increased by over 10% at Har-Ber in the past year on the ACT Aspire. This success occurred by our teachers developing engaging lessons. In these pictures, students manipulated vocabulary words, definitions, and graphic representations to demonstrate understanding of new geometry concepts.
Students in the Har-Ber High School AP Environmental Science class spent time in our outdoor classroom gathering data and applying their learning. It was a great week at HBHS!

Earlier today, FlyARH landed a Robinson R44 helicopter on the Har-Ber High School campus. Members of the Aviation Club were able to check out the helicopter and visit with the pilot.
Allie Shanks is a junior at Har-Ber High School where she is the Junior Vice President of National Honor Society, Vice President of Civic Consciousness of DECA, a member of student council, and Junior Class Council. She is also a United Network for Organ Sharing Ambassador, volunteer for the American Heart Association, and volunteer for Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Association and Give Organs, Give Life.
Throughout this year, Allie will promote her personal platform, “Go Heart Yourself”, which expresses the importance of taking care of your overall well being, with a focus on heart health. By working hand and hand with the American Heart Association, she hopes to raise awareness of heart disease.

The Springdale Education Foundation is hosting their annual Duck Race. This event helps the Foundation raise funds that are returned back to Springdale students through scholarships and teachers through classroom grants.
