K & K Vet Supply in Tontitown hosted 125 students in the Har-Ber High School Animal Science classes today. The owner of the company spoke to the students about career opportunities in the vet supply world and gave the students a tour of their warehouse. The company employs 150 people and provides products to 18 states. The owner also offered internship opportunities with his company to our students.

Six representatives from the Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of Northwest Arkansas spoke to Har-Ber High School Veterinary Science students on Wednesday. The representatives included certified veterinary assistants, certified veterinary technicians, veterinary nurses, and kennel managers. They presented information about career opportunities at their clinic that employs over 70 people and taught the Har-Ber students how to perform chest compressions for CPR on dogs. Two of the representatives were graduates from Har-Ber High High School.
